Jenna received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She moved to the Raleigh area in 2010 and has been practicing exclusively in the field of pediatrics since 2011. She has experience working in various pediatric settings including the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), early intervention, and outpatient therapy. She has worked with many different diagnoses including prematurity, developmental delay, torticollis, plagiocephaly, Down syndrome, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, gait anomalies, neuromuscular conditions, and coordination disorders. Jenna enjoys collaborating with families and other members of the therapy team to help each child reach their fullest potential. She promotes skill development using therapeutic play techniques to create a fun learning environment.
Jenna is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certified clinical instructor, and she enjoys working with clinical students to develop their skills in the pediatric setting. She has completed further education in torticollis and plagiocephaly, kinesiotaping, adaptive mobility, including Go Baby Go, bracing and orthotics, and pediatric gait development. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband and children, participating in athletic events, and relaxing at the beach.
