Felicia received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ithaca College in 2009. After college, Felicia always knew she wanted to work with children and became a child life specialist. As a child life specialist, she worked on a pediatric inpatient unit of a hospital providing ongoing emotional support. Felicia decided she wanted to go back to school to earn a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. In 2014, she graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Bay Path College in Massachusetts. She has previous experience working in a pediatric outpatient clinic and home-based early intervention in Fayetteville, NC. She also has experience providing occupational therapy services in daycares. Her experience includes working with a wide variety of children ages 9 months to 18 years old with a range of diagnoses including ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, Spinocerebellar Ataxia, Muscular Dystrophy, Learning Disabilities, Sensory Processing Deficits, Visual Perceptual Deficits, and other developmental delays. Felicia likes working collaboratively with children and their families helping them achieve their potential. She is certified in Therapeutic Listening. She is also educated and experienced in Sensory Integration, Handwriting Without Tears, and Wilbarger Deep Pressure and Proprioceptive technique.  She has a current NC Occupational Therapy license and is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Additionally, Felicia lives in the Raleigh area and likes spending time with her husband and their dog.  She also enjoys hobbies such as cooking, traveling, hiking, and relaxing at the beach.
