Over the last 6 years, Chelse has worked with children with a variety of speech, language, and hearing needs. She has experience with a wide range of developmental disorders, including Down Syndrome, developmental apraxia of speech, feeding/oral motor difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and receptive and expressive language disorders. Chelse has specific expertise in the area of pediatric dysphagia and feeding disorders.
She has completed training in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, SOS Approach to Feeding, LAMP for AAC, DIR/Floortime, and NOMAS.
Chelse believes in providing research based therapy in order to develop a whole-child approach, allowing for collaboration with parents and caregivers to help the child meet their goals and be able to participate in all aspects of their life.
