Zane has a passion for working with children and their families to help maximize every child’s potential.
Prior to becoming an OT, Zane was a competitive gymnast and coached for over 7 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in human occupation studies and psychology from Lenior Rhyne University in 2006. He continued at Lenoir Rhyne to complete his Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 2008. He has worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including clinic, schools, home, daycare, community, and gymnastics facilities. Zane has a certification in Sensory Integration (SIPT) as well as specialized training in: Learning Without Tears programs, SOS Approach to Feeding, MNRI reflex integration, Wilbarger Protocol, and DIRFloortime.
Zane is a NC native who has lived and worked in California and Florida since graduation from OT school. He is excited to be back in his home state, closer to his family. He enjoys spending time with his family and spoiling his Shiba Inu, Akari. He also enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking, and spending time in the mountains.
